Next-Generation Dual-Tier Metrology

Achieving Sub-Micron Precision in High-Volume Manufacturing

In high-precision manufacturing, maintaining dimensional integrity at high volumes requires moving past traditional post-production sampling. True zero-defect manufacturing demands a continuous, closed-loop quality control network.

By pairing real-time contact probing with automated, contactless laser micrometry, this dual-tier metrology infrastructure completely eliminates human error, ensures absolute component traceability, and guarantees compliance with sub-micron technical specifications.

In-Line Real-Time Contact Probe Monitoring

Production batches from each machine are monitored through automated contact-type probes that measure critical geometric features on every part during fabrication. No manual intervention.

  • Wireless Telemetry: Measurement readings are automatically logged and wirelessly transmitted via Wi-Fi to a centralized Data Server.

  • Dynamic Process Control: Because data collection happens in real time, the system provides immediate feedback on tool wear and thermal drift, allowing for instant machine offsets before parts fall out of tolerance limits.

Off-Line Contactless Laser Profile Verification

Advanced Metrology & Automated Profile Verification: Our Inspection Systems moves past traditional post-production sampling. To validate our in-line production data and capture complex geometries, batch samples undergo secondary inspection using an advanced, automated Marposs laser micrometer measurement system.

The laser system operates at an ultra-fine resolution of 0.00001 mm with a certified accuracy of 0.0005 mm.

Integrated inspection software directs a high-speed laser array to scan the complete profile of the component in a single setting. This contactless method prevents human errors during inspection.

Exhibiting exceptional Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R), this secondary tier is stable enough to calibrate master gauges, ensuring a unified standard of accuracy across the entire factory floor.

The true strength of the dual-tier framework lies in data convergence. Both the Tier 1 wireless probe data and Tier 2 laser micrometer scans feed into the same centralized Data Server to power automated Statistical Quality Control (SQC) software, compiling data streams to generate real-time dimensional histograms, standard deviation, sigma curves, and process capability metrics (Cp and Cpk values).

Every manufactured lot is linked to its exact metrology profile on the server. Real-time production data remains open and accessible on the network at all times for quick auditing.

Operating this unified inspection ecosystem makes high-volume precision viable, keeping defect rates strictly below 3.4 parts per million (PPM).

Our Advanced metrology and Automation solutions are proprietary.

These are developed in-house to meet our specific needs, built solely to ensure a robust production ecosystem that is in absolute compliance with client specifications, preserves our brand trust  and upholds our legacy of zero-defect delivery on every shipment.
